Chimmi Dema, a 21 year-old (born 1997, from Nobgang, Punakha) 1st year student of RTC is one of the most promising female athletes in the country. She is the first Bhutanese female to win the full marathon 42kms – Bhutan International Marathon 2017. Chimmi also won many Marathons and Cycle races including the recent off-road Thunder Dragon Marathon (28th May 17). She is the Winner of Dantak Mountain Bike Race (2016), Dragonโs Fury 2016 and the Runners up of Snowman’s Run (Gasa to Laya Marathon). At the end of 2016, she won the title โQueen Of The Mountainโ.
